Absolutely interested in the Season 3 of the 66.
I have all the Batmoblies you've made so far and ordered the blue Animated Batmobile on day one. If you decide to make the final season of the1966 car it would again be a day one preorder for me.
Hello Joost and team,
While cleaning my 1966 Batmobile dust build up I saw some mini spot where I blew dust off. I used a micro fiber towel, but in one area I noticed light scratches on the pain job. Is there anything I can do to help buff that out?? Not sure if fellow collector may have dealt with similar problem. Any and all help is greatly appreciated. Thanks, Miguel
I have had dark color vehicles all my life and learned from a professional auto detailer to never wipe a dusty vehicle with a dry rag. As mentioned, you are wiping the dust to the surface and will cause microfiber scratches. The solution is to what Joost said is polishing and waxing. However it between them, you can use this product with a microfiber cloth. https://www.griotsgarage.com/speed-shine/
You spray on the cloth and you wipe away from the surface as you pick dirt and dust. Another excellent option is to use a duster. https://www.griotsgarage.com/cotton-car-duster/?sku=11408&gad_source=1&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIu8751rDnhQMVHkh_AB2uUQcWEAQYAiABEgIx-_D_BwE
Hope this helps!
Since this is genuine GM automotive paint, small scratches from cleaning can be lessened by polishing with polishing and waxing compounds for cars
