Holy heart failure, Batman!
We have listened. And while we will not do a re-release of the original Season 1 car, this Season 3 vehicle packs a punch. To tell the story of Batman and Robin throughout 3 seasons and a TV-movie, numerous cosmetic changes were added to the Batmobile. Some practical, like the new steering wheel which was easier to use, or the new bat turn lever so that actor's faces weren't blocked, but also cosmetic changes to further the story, like a rear facing camera, a bat pencil, a geiger counter and about 40 more changes.
This will be a limited edition vehicle with a short pre-order period. We hope to start shipping the first units early next year!

Thanks Man SSSSoooooo Looking forward to this car
Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Now I don’t have to worry about my little brother stealing my ‘66 Batmobile!
😂thank you
I really like that paint job. Well done.
Love that this is getting made! Even though it's from the 3rd season, imho, to me it looks more like a Prototype of the 1st vehicle! Either way, Pre-ordered, looking forward to adding it to my Jazzinc. collection! Now, Please make the Mach 5 soon!
Hi, Joost! Thank you so much for offering the 1968 Batmobile! I owned the 1966 version, but had to sell it to help pay the copay on a very expensive medical devise. I was, and still am a little heartbroken over it! I loved the ’66 as much as any of my other collectibles. And I’m primarily a Star Wars collector! I actually like the ’68 a little more and it seems to be more appropriate for an antihero, as the less glossy paint and subtle pin striping give the Batmobile a bit of a menacing vibe. Thank You!
Thought i was never gonna bag this. Got the figures for the '66,but was made unemployed. Back in work and there pops the '68! Over the damn moon! Cannot wait till next April! Thank you so much for doing this! Beyond ecstatic. Cheers.
Missed out on the 66 and ive been gutted ever since. Just put my deposit on the 68 and I cant wait. Thank you Joost.
Can you make this glossy also the other cars don't seem matte to me please.
Sorry, no, the Batmobile was never high gloss (because the cameras back then could not handle the glare) and they became increasingly more matte. This will be a satin like finish
I have to admit, after watching Batman '66 in H.D. the last few weeks, the original car looks a little rough in its glossy format. I think people have thier own version of it in mind thats ots super glossy and immaculate. It isnt. When it changes to the '68 ot is properly Black. And ot looks far better in my eyes. Dont get me wrong,id jump at the chance to get the '66 you released as i class it as how i saw that car in its perfect form in my mind, but its gone. So im more than happy to have the '68 which is more accurate than the '66,and in comparison with watching the show with it,looks far better.
Dear Matthew thank you. Indeed it was never as glossy as people thought, even on its best day. There were times they flocked it to be completely matte even
What i don't understand i see the screen used cars in videos they look glossy even the 68. The gloss does look nice too i guess I'm debating if I should order this the color is what's holding me back i wish the orange was brighter and black glossy it's beautiful but i guess i see the colors different. I ordered the 89 though.
If you do go to season three, the car is satin black,a real deep black. Its very noticeable if you watch the last ep of season two then go on to three. Id love the 66 in my collection, but i have to say even if i had it,id still be buying this one too.
Does the satin have any gloss or sheen to it or is it just flat black?
It will definitely have some sheen! not flat black
So excited to have placed the pre order for this. This model and the 1989 defined by growing up years :)
Will a signed and numbered limited edition metal plaque also be included with this one?
No as we did not do this with the 1966 batmobile either
Is there any update on this? Perhaps more photos of the proto to share? I'm interested on ordering as my first Jazzinc vehicle but would like to see more images first, thank you!
We are working in the new prototype now and will have more pictures by the end of February
Looking forward to it!
Is the box dimensions the same as the 66? 110 x 50 x 30 cm
Hi Martin, yes they are -Joost
great thanks!
Hi if you would add a shiny '68 version that would be amazing!
Missed the 1966. Really looking forward to receiving this one.
Este lo tienen para entrega inmediata? Y cuánto sería de envío a México
It will ship around September. Around $250 shipping sea freight to Mexico
I did purchase the 1966 version through an Ebay seller recently, and to reiterate this is May 29th 2025. But to pre-order this 1968, and receive hot off the line? It's a no brainier for me. I truly can't wait!!!
En cuanto te salió la versión 1966 en eBay?
Now that we are getting close to the Nov. 15th ship date for the 1968 Batmobile, I was wondering if the project is still on schedule, and, regarding tariffs and other factors, do you have any updated information regarding the final shipping/tax amount? I understand there are several fluid circumstances surrounding tariffs and international trade, so I get it if there isn't enough information to report.
Hi Brian, Thanks for your question! Yes, we're on schedule for this project. We don't have an estimated shipping price yet, though. For shipping to the US, Canada, Australia, and UK, we are planning to use DDP sea freight shipping as the default shipping option. DDP is "delivered duties paid", and means that the import duties are paid upfront along with the cost of shipping. So the price you would be charged for shipping includes duties, and therefore there shouldn't be additional duties to be paid when the package arrives.
Hi Enrique, It does come with a flame. The beacon (siren) on the roof does light up. And no, there is no sound.
The light-up features are: Dashboard five light chaser LEDs in correct animation pattern with updated colours, Beacon, Side Roll bar emergency flashers, Rear Cockpit console light, Scope, Phone, Animated multi color turbine lights, Head lights, Rear Tail lights, Ray lights
Ordered this last minute, before the deadline. This makes the 4th Batmobile I'm picking up... The '89, TAS, Tumbler and now this '68. No clue where I'm putting this, or any of them but, like I keep saying, that's a Future me's problem!
Hi Willems! Thank you for your order!
Can some one tell me if they are going to make the 1966 1/16 Batmobile again I miss out on it dont know if i should look for one on line . Thank you Robert
Hi Robert! Thank you for your question. No, we will not be making the 1966 Batmobile in 1/6 scale again. I'm sorry!
The '68 is the more screen accurate of the two anyway! 😊
