JShot Discovers Jazzinc’s “Maniacal Detail” at SDCC 2026
Joost takes JShot on an extensive tour of the vehicles, figures and environments we brought to SDCC. The tour begins with one of Joost’s greatest passion projects: our sixth-scale KITT from Knight Rider, created using a LiDAR scan of the original hero car and packed with working electronics and carefully researched details.

From there, they explore the sixth-scale Tumbler, our growing Matrix and Batman: The Animated Series collections, Penguin and his army, the final-production 1992 Catwoman, the 1966 Batcave and our 1989 Batcave collection.
Throughout the tour, JShot gets a closer look at the research and craftsmanship behind the pieces. That includes everything from the screen-used interior recreated inside the Tumbler to the moving displays of the 1966 Batcave—and even the dust visible between their original glass plates.
It was this wonderfully obsessive approach that inspired JShot to describe our work as featuring “maniacal detail.” We may have found our new favorite description!

JShot also had the opportunity to handle and pose our final-production Michelle Pfeiffer Catwoman. He experienced the custom seamless body, articulation, surface-mounted stitching and strong magnetic feet firsthand—all elements developed to create natural poses without visible joints or intrusive supports.

The tour concludes at our 1989 Batcomputer, designed and prototyped by Andy, where all 12 screens are fully functional—even those measuring only half an inch across.

A huge thank-you to JShot and his team for visiting our booth, taking such a close look at our work and sharing their enthusiasm with the collecting community. We loved showing them around and truly appreciate the attention they gave to all those details—maniacal or otherwise.
