Inspired by the oval-shaped Bat-insignia symbol, the original Batwing had a 35 feet wingspan which means a ⅙ version is going to need a sizable display space. In fact, you may want to start making room.
Measuring in at 44.92 x 52.4 x 14.5 inches, or 114.1 x 132.9 x 36.8 in CM, Jazzinc has never offered anything of this size and scale. And now that this is an officially licensed product, the hyper-accurate Batman 1989 Batwing Ultimate Edition will also include a magnetically removable canopy, a detailed cockpit interior with light-up functionality, a gatling gun, and enough room inside the cockpit for a Hot Toys™ DX09 Batman.
Moreover, due to its unprecedented size, the ⅙ Batwing is a limited edition collectible that can only be made to order. Pre-order yours now for a Batman collectible unlike any other.

Greetings!
Just a heads up guys. Hot Toys have just opened up preorders for their 1/6 Keaton Batman. Might be a good idea to get a pilot for your Jazzinc Batwing. Wish I could afford one but I’m gonna prioritize the Jazzinc ‘89 Batmobile to go with my ‘66.
Take care!
Did you see the pilot that JazzInc is making, sounds like a great idea to keep the more expensive HT pristine and uncreased. Thanks for looking out for us Joost! If my wait-list turns on the Batwing I will definitely be getting one too.👍🏼
when are you going to stop taking orders for the 89 batwing?
Dear Larry,
That is a tricky question because the additional size has already been set, but it has not yet sold out. We are currently at around 85%, so it will sell out relatively soon. Maybe one month, maybe three months. It is hard to predict.
Ordered a Hot Toys 89 Batman to pilot the new rig. Can’t wait!!
Will you consider making a scaled down version either in 1/12 or 1/10 scale?
Hi, will the Batwing be Wall mountable?
Best regards Pascal
Dear Pascal, yes it will be!
what is the edition size?
Sorry, since we are part of the Warner Bros. organization, we can only communicate edition sizes when they are specifically numbered. But, trust me when I say, it is very limited edition, indeed.
hi~ It was said last night that it might be soldout in one month, but suddenly it has already been soldout. Can it be sold again for a short period of time? Thank you!
I am sorry, we never said how long it would be available because we cannot predict that. We sent out a warning that it was going fast and that is all we can do. You can add your name to the waitlist. Many people who ordered experienced FOMO and there will always be some who cannot actually pay the deposit, so slots will become available, as we know from experience
Hi Joost, will there be a wait list? I just logged in and found the Batwing was sold out already.
Yes, a waitlist button has already been added.
All set. Both Batwing and Batmobile paid in full! I don’t have to worry about having enough space as I know once my items arrive my wife will leave me. Oh well, at least I’ll use that dining room for something. I think I’ll paint it black.
One question. In the assembly video you said there is tape strips for the vertical stabilizers if we plan to mount the Batwing but, does the canopy doors also need the tape? And if so will I need to put tape on the canopy every time I want to put the Batman in or out of the plane?
Hi Helson, We suggest using a little bit of tape on the canopy. If you plan on opening and closing it a lot, the little pieces of tape should just be enough to keep the canopy in place, without making it impossible to access often.
any plans to make the flash batwing 1/6??
No we don’t
Hi, I have purchased the Batwing paid in full. Will I be in the batch for May or December?
It depends. If you have paid off according to the payment deadlines we have emailed everyone about for the May batch, then you are definitely in the May batch, but if you only purchased and paid in full yesterday, you might be in the December batch. We will let you know as soon as possible.
I just added myself to the waitlist as well. Since I am gunning for the whole 1989 Batman theme look, I cannot leave this spectacular piece behind.
Thank you Joost,
I was able to place my order for this Batwing. I really got lucky:) Can't wait to add this to my collection.
Incredible! Lovely work!!! I was apparently living under a big rock missing this. Been looking for a 1/6 Batwing for a long time.
Put myself on the wait list. Fingers crossed!
Thank you so much for your kind words!
What was the cost on this again? I'm on the wait list. thanks
$2499. Thank you.
Thank you for the reply
My batwing is PERFECT and I'm so excited about my Snowspeeder to be delivered soon!! Thanks Jazzinc!!
Hello! Is there any possibility of you guys making a smaller scale Batwing? As much I'd love to own the 1:6 scale, I just don't have that much wall/shelf space to display it, but I might be able to do 1:12 scale or something in between. Curious if you guys have considered it at all? Thx!
Hi Jake! We might consider making the 1989 Batwing in 1/12 scale, depending on the success of the 1/12 1989 Batmobile. But we won't start the Kickstarter for 1/12 1989 Batmobile until after we've gone into production on the 1/6 1989 Batmobile.
On the wait list--- Hope I get it. It was the last movie my Mom and I shared together in the theater. She really enjoyed the movie-- I miss her everyday.....
Hey Albert, nice to hear from you. Sorry for your loss
Thank you for you kind words...
Hi!
Absolutely amazed by this model.
Any chance of putting it back into production?
Thank you!
Thank you. But unfortunately not. Once it’s gone it’s gone.
The 1989 Batwing is out for shipping. Super excited to receive this piece of art. It always works to be on the waitlist. you never know.
Batwing arrived in NYC. Wow what an amazing piece. Online pictures do not give this any justice.
Hi, this looks great, I wish I’d known about jazzinc sooner. I just wondered if others who more recently joined the waitlist, like me, stood any chance of getting a conversion to an order or if the chances of securing the batwing in 2024 are low/nil. Thanks!
Hi Joe, The waitlist for this item is very long, less and less orders are getting converted as this item has been available for some time now so chances are very low.
Hey guys really LOVE my 1966 Batmobile! Probably the greatest piece in my whole 1/6 collection of over 400 pieces and vehicles! I am just hoping and praying to get one of your 89 Batwing to go with my 66 Batmobile, 89 Batmobile, Tumbler and BatSignal!🙏🏼😬🙏🏼🙏🏼
Hi Paul! We're so glad to hear that you're happy with your 1966 Batmobile!
Is it too late, I just added my name to the waitlist?
At this point the chances of a conversion are very slim indeed
Joost,
I recently converted a bedroom to a proper man cave but while doing so I have misplaced the power cable that lights up the Batwing. I have the Universal adaptor but I'm in the US so I really don't need it. If you could kindly share the description of a substitute cable I would really appreciate it. I received email notification yesterday that my Batmobile has shipped so I really want everything lit up for the Holidays. I guess I need the voltage and size of the cable connection. Sorry to be so uneducated as to the electronics. I really appreciate your help with this and look forward to the seated Batman to put inside as well. Just need to get that Batwing powered up!
Cheers, Dan
Dear Daniel, they are 3v center positive with a 2.1mm barrel
