Filly Zepeda Puts Battle-Damaged Catwoman Through Her Paces
Filly Zepeda puts our battle-damaged 1992 Catwoman through her paces, showcasing exactly why we developed her custom seamless body. In one word: MEOW!
This dramatic image is also the only photograph in the series that has been digitally edited. Filly added the flying sparks to heighten the cinematic atmosphere; Catwoman herself, her pose and everything the seamless body is doing are shown exactly as photographed.
Joost also asked Filly to revisit his Catwoman and Batman composition, this time using our 1989 Batman sculpt from the seated Batman accessory. The resulting image brings the two characters together in a scene that feels immediately at home in Tim Burton’s Gotham.
Filly’s photographs beautifully showcase the battle-damaged suit, expressive sculpt and remarkable poseability of the production figure. Through careful posing, lighting and composition, he captures Catwoman’s elegance, danger and unmistakable attitude.
Filly described this as a collectible fans have been requesting for years and “one for the books.” We are incredibly grateful for his kind words about Joost and the entire Jazzinc team—and for the time, creativity and obvious enjoyment he put into creating these images.
