1989 Batmobile Update: Even More Screen Accurate
Doesn't get more screen-accurate than this!

That's right! We got an actual 3D laser scan of the actual 1989 Batmobile prop used on set! With this information we can make sure every detail of our model is as close to screen accurate as one can possibly get. All the lines, all the angles, all the curves, all the proportions! Everything will be screen accurate. 

If you're curious about how that 3D laser scan looks and how it compares to the life-size prop and the technical drawings, please watch the video. With this scan, we'll be able to accurately engineer and design our model, even the most difficult bits. 

We were already pretty far into the modelling process when we got this scan. So we will be slowed down a bit as we make some edits to improve accuracy. But it will all be worth it, in the end, when this iconic vehicle brings the movie to life in your very own home!
