This item totally exceeded my expectations! I was a little intimidated when I first opened the box and looked at the array of parts, but there was a link to a video instruction manual that walked me through the process. Much better than relying on a paper insert. I was amazed and thrilled by the overall quality of this item. I know I read the details before I ordered it, but I was still surprised by the aluminum side pieces. Having the paper templates for adhering the wall details and the four decals was the perfect touch for simplifying the “build”.

I really like having four options for the doorway at the end of the unit too. Closed door (What I chose for now), Open with more Tantive hallway visible, Open with Imperial interior visible, and finally no door to allow for anything you want to appear on the other side. At the moment, mine basically is holding seven figures, and five really shouldn’t be there, but they look so great displayed in this proper “habitat”.

I found a cheap piece of translucent white Plexiglas that only required trimming on one side. This gave me a nice ceiling and I imagined would allow me to illuminate the whole scene by just laying some lights on top. However, the inexpensive LED bars I got were jut a little too large to fit between the top of the display and the bottom of the shelf above. They did fit inside, laying across the hall, providing lots of light and are mostly hidden.

I think I have been bitten by the JazzInc bug. I will be anxiously waiting to see if they decide to scale down any more of there fantastic items for 1/12 figures. If so, I will be getting on the list to order them. If you are considering getting one of these, I can tell you that you will not be disappointed (aluminium walls!) and will want more. I didn’t see a way to upload any photos of my own, but the ones shown on the site truly represent what you receive.

    Thank You!
